Review on 🔌 Zouhi USB Hub 3.0 Powered: 7 Port Data Hub Splitter with Power Adapter, On/Off Switches, and Long Cable for Mac Pro, MacBook Pro and More by Joshua Talbot

I bought this on February 2nd. It worked great - no problem. I liked the design and the fact that I could easily toggle certain connections on or off. Today is August 12th. My cat went under the table and his tail hit the cable connecting the USB hub to the computer. He didn't bump into him, hit him or anything like that; his tail brushed him as he passed. My computer immediately made an "oh no” sound, the lights on the USB hub went out, and my peripherals stopped working. I managed to turn the light back on for a moment, but that was about it. Took an old hub (only with 3 ports) and plugged it in; everything is OK. So if you're conveniently paying twenty bucks for something that will work well for up to 6 months, that's a good deal. If you want something that doesn't die in the middle of the night while you're working on an important deadline, maybe not so much. So many things that are 5 stars out of the box soon become 1 star.)
