We bought this cardboard cat bed for our two cats as they seem to prefer cardboard scratching posts to more durable models (and/or our furniture!). I've been happy with the cat's reaction so far. They both accepted it immediately and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were actually playing with the cat toys installed in the lounger's side slots. Most of the time my cats ignore them. As for the product itself, I'd say it looks a bit larger in the ads (they use a smaller cat than mine), but my cats seem perfectly comfortable climbing, playing, and lounging. Since it is cardboard, the focus was on durability. I can say that after a few weeks of use there is minimal visible wear and tear and I expect this lounger to last a few months before it becomes an eyesore and I have to replace it. I think the beauty of them is that they're inexpensive, easy to replace, and cats really like them. Very important!
