Headlamps are very common in my line of work, and you see so many different styles. But this is one in particular you see a lot of in many different places. Never heard of any complaints except for battery life. Usually I can get 2-4 days out of one charge depending on how often I use it and the brightness. Different activities call for different time so it’s hard to say how many hours exactly. But it’s worth it. I’ll gladly buy any other when the time arises. The motion sensor is awesome, really comes in handy when your carrying something or your holding something. Someone else can just wave in front of the light and boom light. Unfortunately motion activated is only for high setting and battery life does drop to less time when on this setting. Just hold the button until the button turns red. Or about 10-15 seconds I guess if it’s on your hardhat and can’t see the button. It’s not a heavy unit, I’ve had mine in the snow, rain, and chemicals. Seems to stand up well. So far the color hasn’t changed. Comes with built in hard hat clips. But to remain on a hard hat you need to lose the center band/strip. Charging is easy. Uses old style android cords. Everyone has them. About 20 minutes plugged in will get you by til you can get a full charge. Very short charging times from full dead to full charge. Guys who don’t have my light or similar often call me over or ask for my hardhat specifically because if the brightness and how large of an area it’ll cast width wise. This is not a distance light by any means. But within 10-20’ is perfect for being able to see in dark.
