I decided to make the light bar in our kitchen closet a bit more attractive and chose this product. Although a number of reviewers have pointed out issues with knockouts, the one I tried worked well for me. However, in the most obvious place, in the center of the back, there is no knockout hole, so I had to drill a hole instead. I wish I didn't have one as I can't get it back now. The reason I want to return is that the light output is very weak. It may be fine for under cabinet use as one of the uses listed, but it's not bright enough for the other uses listed, even for a cabinet when I tried to use it, let alone in a room like a kitchen or a garage. The lamp is much smaller in diameter than a traditional fluorescent lamp and just doesn't provide enough light for anything.
