You may need to trim this about a half inch or so regularly as it will come loose within a half hour. The notched locking mechanism used to dig into the leather (thin leather sheath, actually with cheap padding underneath, not real leather through and through) will quickly snap through the clipped buckle end of the belt as it has almost no purchasing power (just the shabby end is hardly due to bad design). The teeth are small and blunt, the buckle mechanism is small and weak, the belt insert is too small to bite the belt, the belt material is very thin, fragile and cheap. When removing the belt, it is almost always torn. There are much better options out there like the Marino that actually work and are better straps overall. I would avoid this and take random 5 star reviews here with a grain of salt. Apparently written by people who flaunt belts loose, always handle them very carefully, don't eat more than a green salad, no. Don't breathe too much and don't rely on them to hold your pants.
