It works with the product described.

Surprisingly works as it should. I bought one to make sure it would fit and I'm buying a second one because it fits. It worked with the tub/shower mixer valve/knob described. Seems to be good quality brass, I would pay attention to how hard you turn the knob once installed. I could only guess that the internal parts of the valve are just as unnecessary as the plastic part it replaces.
