I bought it for my backup Baofeng GT-30 and possibly my GMRS radios. I put it in my Agilent Network Analyzer and it didn't work very well. On 2M and 70 cm the SWR was high. It is not configured for these areas. It's bad enough that I don't even care about Rx/Tx testing. Just not worth lugging around. I was hoping for a solid long range antenna for my HT - this isn't it. For those who ask if it can be used folded - no. It's pretty bad in an upright position, and when it's folded it gets a whole lot worse.
