We've finally moved from our apartment to a house so one of my first 30 orders was to hook up a subwoofer that used to be in a box. four years. This worked great for connecting my Energy subwoofer to my Yamaha ATS-1520BL-R soundbar. The soundbar has woofers that produce pretty good bass for small spaces (like our apartment), but not so much for our new open-plan living room. A 10-inch subwoofer adds plenty of low-end depth, and the ability to turn it on for gaming and movies adds fantastic dynamics. Now it's a $5,000 sound system, but that's enough for us!
