Review on Discover the LG 32BN88U-B Ultrafine 4K Ergonomic Monitor with 120Hz and USB Hub by Chris Kotun

At work, I had a two-year-old 27-inch LG 4G Ultrafine connected to a MacBook Pro. Unlike the "Retina" zoom controls on the laptop, I only had a basic list of permissions to choose from. While the display was amazingly sharp at 1900 x 1080, it was unusably blurry at 2k and unusable at 4k, and I sacrificed screen real estate, photo detail, etc. Because of this, I was apprehensive about buying more 27-inch 4k. But after reading that there are ways to work around the problem with tools and configurations, I decided to give it a try anyway. Text scaling, everything is perfectly clear. The image also has a wide range of configurations, allowing me to set the ideal contrast and color accuracy + temperature. Photos look fantastic and text in ITerm2 (for programming) is amazingly sharp. I suspect the weak point is scrolling text in the browser at 60Hz, but I think the more expensive models offer that. I don't mind. The Ergo armrest is great, but my 33-inch deep desktop may be the limit of how far I can comfortably work with it. A little more and I'll probably want to drill a hole and use the included desk mount. In short, I highly recommend this monitor.
