Review on Porter Cable Dewalt Compressor N044359 by Bob Walters

I have a small pancake compressor that made a hissing noise in a plastic case around the motor. I did a little research on YouTube and found that a lot of people think this hose seal is the culprit. After researching that seemed to be my problem. The "fun" part was taking the compressor housing apart to get to where that pipe gasket goes. I photographed the process so I could put everything back together once I was done, which helped because I felt like I was going down a rabbit hole to get to the old pipe gasket. But with persistence and the help of youtube videos of other people doing the same thing with similar pancake compressors, I was able to replace and test them and the leak is gone! I was shocked after the "surgery" but it was worth it. SUMMARY - PROS: * Inexpensive part * Do-it-yourself repair CONS: * Difficult to assemble after replacing the pipe gasket, but I'm also inexperienced in this area. . Photos helped.* This may not be your problem. It would suck to go all the way with this replacement and still hear the leak. I hope it's not you!
