Definitely worth a buck

First of all it works. To be honest, this isn't a fancy analogue joystick. It feels like it'll get stuck when you move it and almost never return to idle when you let go. I often had to nudge a little to make my characters stop moving or my cars to stop spinning. But it definitely works better than the broken one I had before, so for the dollar it's hard to fuss about.
