This is great value for money. The specs of this mic are the same as most budget mics including BM-800, MU007 etc. These are mass produced mics that companies buy and stamp their logo on. As a condenser microphone, it is much more sensitive than a traditional microphone. dynamic microphone and requires power to function. So if you don't have a phantom powered audio interface, you'll have to buy one for an additional $20. I don't recommend this mic for singing, simply because the sensitivity is much higher with cheaper parts. . Moderately loud singing without serious mic tech is prone to hardcore clipping. This also applies to people who like to write down the spoken word aloud. If you're serious about podcasting, I recommend getting a Behringer Xenyx mixer with a built-in USB audio interface so you can control the volume while recording. Good quality shock absorbers. The arrow handle does its job. The new cable included does the job well, but the XLR to XLR connection gives you the best quality. (Like I said, a blender really comes in handy.)
