Sorting our shoe collection so no pictures of shoes on shelf at the moment but have had this item for over a few months. and kept a lot of shoes in them. I would personally recommend using it, especially for baby shoes or even rolled up bathroom towels. It's easy to assemble, doesn't really require tools, although it does come with one that allows you to remove the nuts from the bolt-like part. Some of them were really overtightened which was a problem initially as I didn't see a small Allen key in the packaging until much later. They may not be suitable for extra heavy boots as they are attached with a sticker. Although it seems fine to me and my child's shoes don't cover the bottom of the closet. I really appreciated the fact that it comes with extra sets of sticky pads so I can move them around if I need or have to.
