This is really lovely and works well as a hanging jewelry organizer especially if you don't have much counter/dresser space. It's about the size of a proper women's dress (size 00; my daughter pissed me off by offering to wear it. Besides being too small for me, it's still soldered at the bottom). I would describe the material as the same as the reusable bags that you can buy in the supermarket for 99 cents. It's not real fabric, it's something like mesh and paper. It's not easy to break, but I also don't think this item will last years and years like a more durable wooden or plastic dresser. Clear vinyl earring pouches. But for $16 with delivery I think it turned out very well. I like this design a lot more than the Rubbermaid drawers I used for my jewelry. They just didn't keep things clean or separate enough and I had a hard time finding what I needed. My chains kept getting tangled as well. This hanging organizer is very useful visually, as you can see from my photos.
