The toggle choke is used specifically for training purposes and should not be worn by your pet outside of training. At this point, the toggle collar should be removed and the no-toggle collar placed on your pet. The toggle choke can get stuck in the dog's mouth while the dog can't push it out of the mouth due to the lever design on the chain collar. This particular collar is used more for training than as an everyday casual collar. I recommend this collar exclusively during training, only for obedient commands.
