Bought this for a trip and had to try it out fully before leaving. I rented a large van and used it twice to sleep in a 10 day trip. I also bought an air mattress that I thought could be inflated with this cork. It was extremely difficult to get into the socket, the lightbulb did not light up at first. I flipped it over hoping it would work and it caught fire briefly but didn't catch fire. I tried 3 times and once my light came on but as soon as I plugged in the air mattress pump it didn't work. I was too frustrated and luckily I had an extension cord which I used at the gas station, which I could use to access her outlet. If you buy this, be sure to try it
