This hose fits perfectly and is a lot cheaper than the original! To be honest I prefer it as the button is easier to press than the original which helps with cleaning. My grandmother had issues with a Dyson tube getting stuck on the handle and no amount of movement, adjustment or force ever seemed to solve the problem. She used it for years so as not to make a fuss about it, but eventually it slowly drove her crazy over time until she decided to upgrade to a newer model. In an attempt to help, I took him home to find out, but was also at a loss. I have no idea what the problem is as everything looked and appeared to be fine, the hose just refused to go all the way in. On a whim and finding this at a good price I decided to get a replacement. Oh wonder, after installing this new one, the problem is gone! I gave it back to her and she was just as surprised at how easy and straightforward it was. She now has a backup vacuum for when she needs one! All in all a good replacement!
