were thicker and larger than expected

I have this brand of hair ties that I first found at Nordstrom Rack. I thought they were the same as I didn't realize they come in different sizes and you can't tell from the picture or description, but they are thicker and larger than regular scrunchies - sort of like Scrunchy x Scrunchy. It's good in a way, but not what I was looking for.
