the strongest tongue sting of any mouthwash I have ever used

Count me among another person who got a horrible sting from it. I've used other ACT conditioners in the past without this problem so I'm hoping to compare the ingredients as they don't contain alcohol or menthol which are common culprits from what I can find online. This material is unsuitable for me and I unfortunately bought two bottles. I'd also love to see input from anyone who knows what ingredient is causing this for some of us, EDIT: I've reordered Children's ACT mouthwash and confirmed it doesn't sting my mouth (and the watermelon version is pretty tasty!). Crossing out everything from the ingredients list on both bottles (assuming I did it right), the only two things not in the kid's version are "sodium saccharin" and "flavorings". a system that allows products to easily list the "flavors" of foods and medicines. So what I'm left with for the ingredients I can *look at* is sodium saccharin. While I've always disliked the taste of saccharin, it goes way beyond that. Not only does it taste bad, but it's so painful that I can't even keep it in my mouth for anywhere near the suggested length of time. So I'm really not sure if it's the saccharin, or the amount of some other ingredients, or something mysterious about the "taste". I guess my advice would be to not take this if you are sensitive to unpleasant saccharine flavors and just go for the baby version.
