I ordered a couple of K wall mounted drink holders and although I didn't go for this one I found it worth mentioning as it was a very nice, well built unit. This device is made out of fairly thick plastic and uses 8 super strong neodymium magnets to hold it to the fridge. I know most of you aren't metallurgists or scientists, but here are a few facts you should know about fridge magnets. These magnets will only stick to fridges with steel doors, if your fridge is a high end unit with real stainless steel doors they won't stick at all. Cheaper stainless steel refrigerators aren't actually stainless steel doors, they're clad in stainless steel. This means the manufacturer has taken a regular fridge and added a double stainless steel door on top of the steel door. In this case, this holder will be attracted to your door but will slide down. Those of you who think stainless steel is magnetic are right about surgical grade stainless steel, but decorative stainless steel isn't magnetic. All in all, it's a really good device and comes in gift-worthy packaging. I just didn't save it because I found another one with a much larger capacity.
