Review on OneTigris Waterproof Ultralight Backpacking Traveling by Michael Freemason

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Light, small package!

This is a very simple tent that you can hide from bugs and other crawling insects. The sidewalls are made of durable mesh with dense pores that provides excellent inward and outward vision. You can achieve the effect of "sleeping under the stars" without the mosquitoes and nasopharia feasting on your face. The bottom of the tent is a waterproof tub with the sides raised a few inches to keep moisture out. The tent is very light - the entire tent, poles, line and carry bag together weigh less than 2 pounds. (My scale shows 1lb 12.4oz). All of this is rolled up to about the size of a liter bottle. The tent has no internal structures to support it and does not come with supports to set it up. You will need to bring your own poles, find long branches or well-placed trees to tie your tent to. You get ground spikes to keep your stash from blowing away and becoming a mess. This is a great basic tent for mild or hot weather. If you plan to use it when it's wet, you'll need some sort of canopy to keep the rain out. Unless you want to bathe in a tiny single tent. Nice lightweight minimalist tent that is easy to pack.
