I used 3 different sizes. Small when I pull my hair down, medium when my hair gets more frizzy and large for the top of my head. I don't use these rivets but I bought others. To make styling easier, I pull my hair back, put on a bun and style my hair around it. After that, I tie the entire bun with a rubber band. Depending on your hair length you will have small sections of hair that I sometimes leave or twist and twist.
