I thought I'd found the perfect parchment paper, but I was wrong. The box itself is difficult to open. You should be able to grab the edge and easily rip off a piece of cardboard to open the box first, but there is too much glue making it impossible to open the box without slicing it open with a knife. It was very unexpected and disappointing. As for the parchment itself, it is not intended to be used at high temperatures. Whether you're trying to make a pizza, a specific type of bread or a pastry, the paper will burn instantly within 30 seconds and fill your kitchen with smoke. Luckily there is no open fire, but the effect is almost identical. The marketing says you can use paper at 450 but I wouldn't use it above 400 unless you want your house to smell like smoke and set off the fire alarm like it has happened to me. I will not buy this product. again. I love the promise of quality unbleached parchment at a reasonable price, but I want parchment that doesn't burn easily and isn't locked in ridiculously disappointing packaging.
