Review on 🚰 Top-Notch Propur Replacement Traveler Countertop Gravity Filters: Essential for On-the-Go Hydration by Shane Minter

Last year I bought a ProPur Traveler that came with a 5" ProPur/ProOne G2.0 filter was shipped. A few months later I bought the current filter (listed above) to replace the old one. Three days ago the new filter was cleaned and installed the same as the old one, to my chagrin this filter doesn't work/filter properly, it doesn't pass the "food color test" or the coffee test like the previous filter I have about 10-12 drops of green food middle color added to the water in the upper tank. After about 15 minutes, the green food coloring will be CLEARLY visible in the water in the lower tank. It's not as concentrated as in the upper tank, but it's visible there. The same applies to the coffee test. I poured 2 cups of medium dark coffee into an almost full top water tank. green food coloring. Just a very light, slight "foggy" brown, but you can definitely try it. Remember that my first ProPur/ProOne filter did an excellent job of removing these contaminants. For now I've actually gone back to my old filter which STILL works fine and passed the tests. This is very disappointing to say the least. When we buy ProPur devices/filters, we trust them to properly filter the water we inject into our bodies. What if I hadn't taken these tests? I would drink the water and assume it was clean, but it wouldn't be. And it could happen to you. To be honest I hope ProPur will treat me fairly, solve this problem and send me another filter (hopefully there won't be so little customer service as there is quality control). And if so, and if it passes the previously mentioned tests, I'll be happy to edit/revise this review entry. If not, then he'll get up and I think he'll go to Burke. There is nothing worse than bad water or water that cannot be trusted.
