I'm new to contouring so this basic set is perfect for me. I bought Light to Medium and my skin is very fair. Colors work great. I feel like the product defines the face even though I don't follow the directions exactly - I only apply around the cheekbones and not on the nose, forehead, chin and above the lip. It only takes a few seconds longer than applying regular blush and I feel it gives a good result with more depth than just blush. The color of the blush itself is very pleasant, and the white highlighter is delicate and beautiful. The bronzer/brown isn't too dark but as expected needs some shading to make it look natural. The only problem I have with this set is the brush. It works well for applying dark colors, but is a little small for blush, and using it on different colors results in mixing colors on the brush. I wish it had the brush I have now, a large blush brush and a blender. However, I have these other items on hand, so it's not too much of a problem. Overall, I recommend the product mostly for beginners who want to try it but don't put too much time and effort into the process.
