Perfect for what I need! We regularly adopt dogs for rescue organizations and I bought this for one of my foster puppies when he was on a "date" to meet his potential new family. I took off his regular collar and put this collar on him with a bow tie to dress him up for the occasion and it was a huge hit. The family thought it was adorable and took it home the same day! I'm sure they would have adopted him without the bow tie but it added a little sparkle to their fun like they've received the greatest gift of all since losing their beloved dog who turned 14.5 3 years ago . I would say it's not strong enough to use as a normal collar with a leash (plus it doesn't have anything to attach to the leash) but it's perfect for a dog outfit and very adorable! I was also pleasantly surprised to find that it is easy to adjust to the right size and fits a fairly wide range of neck sizes.
