I bought 3 XL beds from Dog's Balls this year. I did a lot of research before buying the first one. This bed had reasonable reviews and was affordable. I needed one for my 8 year old arthritic 132 lb Newfoundland dog. The bed arrived within three business days. It filled and loosened as advertised. Another advantage was the odorlessness. So far, so good. It's time for bed, Maudie One Sock lay on the bed, slept 8 hours without a break. When she woke up there was much less tension in her hind legs as she got up and climbed out of bed. Perfect! This is her favorite bed every time. Two months after buying the first bed, it's time to buy another one for two Newfoundland puppies. Our experience with the 2nd bed was the same as the first. I wrote to the company to let them know that we have two beds that fit our girls very well and that we will be needing a third one soon. Faye wrote back immediately thanking us for our purchases. Our third bed arrived a few days ago. Newfoundlands are growing fast and two puppies can no longer properly share their bed. We put a third bed on top of our bed to fluff and fill. Bizzy jumped 37 inches off the floor to the middle of her bed on our bed, spun around, rested her head on the pillow and smiled at us. your own bed! Now I'm surrounded by three snoring Newfs in their own beds. Everyone is happy. Cleaning: These beds are easy to clean. This is important as our newfs drool even in their sleep. The bedspreads are also very easy to wash and dry. I had no trouble removing the Modi mattress from the cover. The foam was duly encased in a waterproof zippered mattress cover that washes like sleep along with the brown cover. Inserting the roll filler was easy. The roll filler is generous. I hit and hit. The end result looked like new. Furniture makers could learn a lot from this company. Durability: My girls are long, tall and heavy. I was concerned that the beds would not stand it. BC, Modi's bed at 11 months is the same thickness as at the time of purchase and her pillows are full and thick. There was no visible compression wear, and when I applied a tape measure to it, the thickness was the same everywhere. The zippers are roomy and work well. The case still looks very good. I put blankets on my knees on all three beds and wash them weekly. Conclusion: The beds are as advertised and after 11 months the first purchase looks like new. They're durable, washable, and comfortable, so our girls say. Fay, the rep for the company I dealt with was a dream come true. She knows the girls names, she texted to see if the beds were okay. The shipping was fast for us and the packaging was perfect. This company will stay with us, although with continued durability we may not need new beds.
