Review on Enhance Your Vehicle's Cooling Performance with MOSTPLUS Black Universal Electric Radiator Slim Fan Push/Pull 12V + Mounting Kit (12 Inch) by Bilal Cartwright

Revainrating 5 out of 5

3 years and still! Buy a second fan now for another project!

First I bought 2x 12" fans, 1x 16" fan. The 16 inch fan is 3 years old and runs at 95f+ for about 15 hours a day. It draws about 4 amps on startup and about 2.5 amps when running in pusher mode to dissipate heat underground, which gets pretty hot here in South Carolina in the summer. I had no problems with this device and it still works the same as the day I bought it. I should mention that I'm not sure how they came up with the CFM ratings. The 16 inch fan moves 1850 cubic feet of air per minute. 12" fans move 1500 cubic feet of air per minute. When starting, they draw 3.6 amps. And 2.1 amps gain momentum. I found out the reason for the project it is attached to. I used two 12" fans to cool the generator case at home. They run in bad weather, or rather in hurricanes. After 3 hurricanes they still work like the day I bought them. The only reason I'm buying a third 12" fan now is because my neighbor's fans keep eating dirt in his generator cabinet. He asked me to buy him one because he's so impressed with how long mine lasts! My only complaint about these fans is when you use them as pullers. The engine runs around 110f or more temperature. The way the fan pulls it gets past the motor but doesn't really make enough contact with it to cool. If you use them as a pusher. Air penetrates the metal surface of your motor and stays at or below 90f even when it gets very hot in the summer. For a car I don't think it really matters as the fans are air cooled while driving. A big fan of the designs and I could see they would last a long time and as intended. The ball bearings it contains are sealed and seem to stay nice and smooth even in salty air and bad weather! So if you like to tinker, I think you will be very satisfied with your choice when buying this fan.
