Poor comfort... not for hiking...
I have worn Vasque boots for many years. I bought them spontaneously. There was an error. Boots are uncomfortable. The lace-up design never tightens evenly. This creates disproportionate tension in all the wrong areas. Not protected from water and dust. The material is very porous... and lets sand, dust, etc. through. Finally, for me, the ankle support is zero. This shoe seemed to twist my ankle a lot. I would not buy again. Vasque Juxt is a similar shoe that is much better suited for outdoor use.
