Looks decent at first glance; Let's see how it holds up over time

At first glance this third party toner works fine and I have no complaints about the price. We have an old Brother 5250 at home that is not used much and we need more toner for it. To give you an idea of how easy it is, let's assume it was bought after a refurbishment in mid-2008 and we've just emptied the original toner cartridge that came with it after a little over 3,700 pages (I think that was before those sneaky "starter" cartridges) so the average load is 1 page per day. It is mainly used by woman in the queue when she needs to prepare for tomorrow's lesson, such is a teacher's life. - an old printer (I might as well buy a new one and get the scanning capabilities we'll need eventually), so I figured I'd give a 3rd party way. I figured it was easier to justify experimenting with an old printer than a shiny new one; if the worst had happened we wouldn't have lost much. I've only looked through a few sites to verify it so far, but they seem reasonable enough. Text is as clear as you'd expect from an old cheap laser and looks about as dark as what we've seen from vintage toner. Line drawings, graphs and equations seem fine, and there's nothing special about duplex printing. The frequency of occasional specks does not appear to have changed from the OEM cartridge. Time will tell, but I believe if he were completely pear-shaped he would do it in an instant. So far I'm optimistic.
