Review on πŸ” Non-Toxic MarvelBeads Sensory Scoops Tweezers for Enhanced Sensory Play and Learning by Todd Roybal

Excellent sensory toy for sand and water tables

My daughter loves it and it's an affordable way to have a soothing sensory experience. She is fascinated by how a small part can make a big difference and how a tiny pearl swells to the size of a marble. In my second picture you can see how many beads you get from just two teaspoons of the bottle. By this point she had barely used enough beads to fill the top of her cap and had made about three or four cups of beads. I would definitely say it's better for older kids because I think little kids as young as maybe even five years old will find it too tempting to put one in their mouth. They look like candy and very young children will probably want to try them or put them in their mouths. I would also like to point out that clear pearls thrown into a glass of water are completely invisible and can be dangerous because someone could very well drink the glass without realizing that one of these pearls is in it. There really isn't much you can do with them other than just feel how cool they are, but for many kids that will be enough. I've seen at least one case where someone grew bamboo in a clear vase using just those beads, which released enough water to keep the bamboo alive. So if you're wondering what their practical purpose is, this is an idea. Overall, though, this is just a sensory toy that will likely be fun for a while. I'd really like to know what was inside them because although the packaging claims they are eco-friendly I don't know how accurate that claim is without knowing what they are. As for the product, it's a great value because for the price you're probably getting enough beads to fill a tub as these things get so much bigger.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • The list will be long.
