Review on 💡 CORSAIR RMX White Series, RM850x, 850W, 80 Plus Gold Certified, Fully Modular Power Supply - White by Gavin Hernandez

Can't say enough good things about this power supply. I recently built a new high performance desktop PC and this thing has literally held up flawlessly! Before we get to the performance, can we appreciate for a second how sleek and stylish this thing is? The all white exterior is a fantastic accent in any setting. This is a truly unique piece of hardware that will enhance any PC. Now that it isn't, let me tell you about its performance. Holy Moly is an amazing thing. It currently supports an Intel i7 8700 processor, a 1080 GTX graphics card, two Corsair sticks with 8 GB 3200 DDR RAM, 2 x 2 TB hard drives, 1 x 500 GB M.2 drive, 3 x case fans and a Corsair 105 hydrocooling system and up until now it's been beyond smooth. This thing powers my rig easily, no problem. And did I mention the sound he makes while running? no I did not do it. This is because it is not. This thing is so quiet that I have to check the lights on the case to see if my system is powered on. Even under the pressure of playing PUBG or Overwatch at max settings, this thing refuses to beep. If I had one thing I would absolutely complain about, it would be the price. $160 is pretty expensive for an AC adapter and I'm sure similar products can perform on par with this one. I'm aware that part of this price tag comes from Corsair's signature branding and of course the unique white colourway, but other than that this is a really premium product. I promise you won't regret if you decide to buy it!
