I've had this antenna on my pickup for a little over two months and I have to say it looks really good. I drove through a car wash several times and there were no problems with the antenna. It also withstood the effects of magnesium chloride on winter Colorado roads with no problems, discoloration or scratches. As for the sound quality on the radio, I had no problems with it. I don't listen to the radio often, but when I did it was crystal clear. Of course I live in Denver so I have a good strong signal. Not a good shot of the antenna in the picture but it gives you an idea of the size. It's on the passenger side of my pickup truck. I definitely recommend this antenna.
