The mouse is constructed out of high-quality plastic, making it more long-lasting than the materials used in the MX (s2) series, which do not appear to be in good condition after two years, proving that the claim to the material is not substantiated. Since I started using the mouse four months ago, everything has been functioning perfectly. Sure, some of the buttons are silent, but even the loudest ones are barely audible. There is a transmitter that enables you to connect to computers without the use of bluetooth; when used with a macbook, it functions in the same manner as a native connection would. This prevents the connection from being lost as easily as it would with cheaper mice. On a laptop, it works by way of a transmitter and functions normally; but, when using bluetooth, the device sometimes causes the machine to completely freeze up and force a reboot; nevertheless, this is an issue with Windows and not the mouse. In spite of the expense, it is completely warranted. The vast majority of the negative reviews are almost certainly just one person's opinion, and it would appear that there are not a great deal of them, which is something that makes me happy as a user.
