No bad smell, works great
No chemical smell. Good air filter. The filters appear to be slightly larger than the ones that came with my Honeywell air purifier, they fit noticeably tighter, but they still fit. I saw a lot of reviews about it having a very bad chemical smell, I pulled the trigger anyway thinking it would only last a few days at worst, to my surprise there is absolutely no smell.
