Sturdy, well built kickstand that fits our child's 20" bike. The spring effect of the tripod is so strong that when you lower it with your foot, the entire tripod mount rotates clockwise. As a result, the footpeg leg hits the pedal or rider's foot while riding. The bracket rotates no matter how tight the screw of the bracket is. My solution: Take some thick auto rubber tubing, maybe 5/8" thick, cut two 1" pieces, then cut them lengthwise. Slide each split tube, split side up, onto the bottom of each frame tube. Then install the stand assembly on top. The hose provides a better grip on the frame tubes and prevents the footpeg from rotating. Yes, all of this is because the bike didn't have a box welded to the frame to attach it to the footboard.
