Review on πŸ”Œ 1080P HDMI KVM USB Extender Over Cat5e/6 Ethernet Cable - Remote Signals Control for Mouse and Keyboard, Up to 45m (147ft) by Lynn Cole

Make sure you use a good HDMI cable - the cheap one took me an hour!

I've spent an hour trying to get this extension to work but to no avail. Finally I decided to change the HDMI between my computer and the transmitter module. After I connected the new cable, it worked beautifully. The old HDMI cable works great between my computer and my monitor, it's not dead but something about it makes their transmitter unhappy. With a new HDMI cable, this unit worked GREAT. Allows me to send 1080p video from my computer to the TV over a 100ft Cat7 cable. It also transmits audio from HDMI, which I wasn't expecting and am happy with. If you need to send HDMI and USB over long distances, this is the way to go!

Pros
  • LOSSLESS AUDIO/VIDEO TRANSMISSION: Send the HDMI signal as smoothly as a direct connection to a remote monitor. Support 1080P FHD and 3D video, compatible with HDMI 1.3.
Cons
  • Expensive
