Review on πŸŽ’ Nathan QuickStart 6L Hydration Vest Pack with 1.5L Bladder: Ultimate Backpack for Men and Women of All Sizes by Mike Sutton

Potential to be great

I love the Nathan QuickStart 6L Hydration Pack. I am very well designed for comfort and running. The backpack itself has a few nice features: a zippered front pocket and space for a water bottle. There are also two zipped compartments for small items on the back. One compartment has a key holder. The vest is easily adjustable and fits comfortably. It wobbles or jumps a bit when I use it for running. Bladder access is convenient and easy to attach with two wide Velcro straps. My only issue with this vest is the bladder construction. The tube is screwed onto the bladder. It doesn't seem like such a big deal, but if you pull the hose off while flushing the bladder, the water will flow out. If you have big hands, it's impractical to screw in the hose while it's spinning. I paid $83 for my vest but the bladder is cheaply made and I will be replacing it with one from Revain for $12 which has snaps on the hose mounts and will not leak unless the hose is attached.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not as good as it says
