I have bought many filters from other manufacturers over the years and these are my least favorite filters. :( They are thinner than branded ones and don't absorb water well. I use a high output humidifier 24/7 all winter long. I don't expect longevity with filters because I change them once a month. Less than 1.5 though Weeks of use, this filter is already hardening on the top outside edges and even halfway down the filter.This usually doesn't happen with other filters until the end of the month.Most filters will start to discolor and harden on top and then the filter gradually harden. I've never had this crap with a filter, how fast it is. I can already tell, both from the air and from how slowly the tank empties, that the filter isn't picking up the water properly. Wouldn't recommend.
