This is a great product; I can't say enough! I commute to work by bike or on foot and am concerned about sudden downpours (issue at my current location). I already had raincoats but my ibagbar canvas backpack travel bag hiking bag camping bag backpack kept getting wet even with umbrella so I bought this type. My bag says it needs a large size but I went for XL just in case. It works great! My bag has a specific shape/structure so the elastic on the lid slides in easily and stays in place. The case also has two drawstring straps in my opinion if you want to attach it more securely to your bag. The case folds compactly so it stays in your backpack when it rains. I also competed in a triathlon on a rainy day and didn't have pockets to keep my gear dry during transitions. Well, as a last idea, I grabbed a raincoat; It definitely doesn't get any worse than nothing. I pack all my stuff when I move but put all my change of clothes in the raincoat and with the extra room and elastic I folded it like a calzone and hooked the elastic around and under my clothes. It worked like a charm. It rained for about an hour and when I got my stuff back they were completely dry!
