At first glance this product exceeded my expectations for the price BUT after setup and first use I realized this was a HUGE design flaw. To set up the carrier for use, install a floor panel that your pet will sit on, and then install two wooden panels on the longer sides to hold the carrier open. These plates are ALWAYS falling! They pick up a pet-less carrier and soon they fall off on their own, and even worse when the pet is inside! My poor puppy got hit in the head a couple of times and when the plates fall the whole van collapses. Because there is only one velcro on each side of the holder, which is supposed to hold the plate in place. The construction is essentially based on the fact that the plate is wedged on both sides between the lugs of the support element. I found this part ironic because I took the company name "Mancro" as a pun, obviously velcro, and just one velcro on each side would go a long way. It also has two velcro straps on the bottom to keep the bottom in place which I felt was a waste of time when you could have added extra tabs for the panels instead. Anyway, I didn't want to return it and be left without a carrier for my pup, so I fiddled with it all day while waiting for more Velcro to arrive. (Ordered from Amazon for about $8). I chose to install the slats both on the inside of the support member and on the stove itself and voila! No more trouble. I wouldn't recommend just using double sided tape for this modification as you won't be able to remove it and fold the media for less storage space. In the end I still think I got a good carrier for my pup. Just note that you need to change it before using it.
