When installing new discs and pads I flushed the system with Dot 4 brake fluid. Wow what a difference in braking performance. Feels like a new truck, smooth brakes, great pedal feel and excellent stopping power. 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali with 62,000 miles. I wouldn't have had to change the brakes at all if it weren't for the incompetence of the GM mechanics putting the truck together. The RR wheel had a frozen caliper pin that NEVER had lube applied to it. It took a ball-peen hammer and about 15 hits to get the pin out of the hole in the bracket. I cleaned all the parts, replaced the rubber boots to make sure the grease couldn't spill out and restored the brakes to work better than the factory. release the brake. So I basically wore these rear brake pads for thousands of miles before they were metal on metal. Many thanks to GM for the excellent quality of the PowerStop brake parts. Thanks PowerStop, well done
