Review on EPOS SENNHEISER Adapt 660 1000200 by Richard Gaines

When my 8200UC work kit stopped accepting payments they offered me in ear headphones which I declined and decided to buy my own . I tried different options designed for both UC and audio only but they didn't work properly, neither did a UC oriented device. Essentially, audio priority is a must. Calls to UC devices must not be accompanied by system tones, web media, media, or any other call that interrupts an existing call. To be honest, my testing of alternatives was limited as I wanted to replace the 8200s quickly. In my experience, Plantronics/Jabra UC units are great for this, but their overhead units are overpriced. This device was developed for use in Unified Communications and fulfills this very well. The call playback quality is very clear and no one has ever complained about the sound quality from my microphone. Testing the device in teams confirmed that the quality of the microphones is excellent and they sufficiently cancel out ambient noise. ANC on this device also works adequately for my needs. As it's the only device I rely on for audio playback, I listen to music and videos with this set and the sound quality is to my liking. The only downside to this device is the length of the headband. I had to fully stretch the band and move the band's position forward on my head to allow the cups to reach the bottom of my earlobes. This wasn't necessary on the 8200 or other full-size headsets I've tried/used/have (editor). I can adjust how I need to wear them, so I believe they could be longer, but not until I can't wear them comfortably and want to return/exchange them. I plan to keep them for a long time.
