Pleasantly surprised. Should have bought this forever.

Pretty sure this is a small chair from Ikea. I bought it from a previous tenant in my apartment. My kitty liked to pierce the vinyl with his little nails so I threw a blanket over him for about a year and a half because I thought it would be a good solution and I didn't want a stupid flimsy chair I wanted something thicker. After giving up my stubbornness about the thick chair cover, I broke down and bought this one. He is skinny. This is roughly the same fabric as a soft, stretchy t-shirt or nightgown. But it tightened in 2 seconds, slid right over the top and fits perfectly, not sagging or so tight that it distorts the pattern. All of the seams are in the right places so it doesn't look silly and I really don't see any reason why they should shift as they give you foam tubes squeezing them into the gap between your arms/back and the seat .(FYI, my chair is one piece. The cushion is not removable. If your cushion is removable, don't get this one.) So, in conclusion, not wanting to spend money on a cheap cover and opting for a blanket was better a bad choice. I put this on last night and it gives me so much pleasure to look around and see a chair that doesn't look like a mess. I hope my cat leaves him alone. Maybe I'll leave an update in a month or two.
