This lightweight adapter is exactly what I was looking for, all the other adapters I've bought over the years have been heavy and had to use several different plugs with them. This adapter is a versatile piece of equipment with no parts to lose or leave behind. With airlines constantly charging excess baggage surcharges, this makes a big difference. I was traveling in Africa for three weeks with six countries and four types of power connections, this adapter used all 240 volts without any problems. Anyone doing any type of travel outside of the US needs at least one of these, if not more. I know that I will add at least one or more items to my carry-on baggage.
