When I finished installing it, one of our cats found it and didn't leave for the next 24 hours except to eat or use the litter box. Unfortunately, none of the cats have bonded with him since. As for the installation, the visual instructions could be a bit better to show the orientation of the side panels. The rest of the assembly was easy. Incidentally, the instructions state that the device must be mounted on the wall (and all the necessary small parts are included). In my case, this was not necessary with a fit, agile cat.
