Well, I've heard about silk pillowcases and their benefits, but I still haven't made up my mind. I am VERY glad I took the chance to purchase this product! The color (I ordered taupe) is beautiful, neutral and classy. The feel is very soft and luxurious. I noticed in many of the photos in the reviews that the covers were lying on top of cushions and it was obvious from the packaging lines that the covers had not been washed before use - DON'T DO THIS! In fact, it's just common sense to wash an item you'll be rubbing your face on all night. Speaking of washing, I put mine in a mesh lingerie bag and used my machine's hand wash setting (cold water), HE detergent, and Downy Fab fabric softener. Then, still in the bag, put them in the dryer on low speed for 20 minutes. They came out of the packaging with very few creases and fell out when I placed them on the pillows. Overall I give them five stars and will be buying more and giving them away. However, I will mention that mine didn't arrive in the pretty gift boxes that some others have mentioned, but in ziplock plastic bags, but that wouldn't make me hesitate to buy again. Buy these cases! You are funny.
