Review on Sauder 422114 Lateral Curado Cherry Furniture by Lauren Walton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very durable and good looking

The overall quality of this product is based on the same "print binding" as others, but it appears to be a higher quality material than most commercial furniture. So be careful, and it's packaged fairly well with reinforced corners so shipping companies are less likely to damage the panels inside. The downside is that if you have the same type of package as me, you actually need a drill. In section "M63" on page 13 of the instructions you assemble the "cam lock". The problem is that the M63 piece of wood had no holes other than the recess for the 1F camlock piece. You will need to drill a hole in the end of the circuit board for part #2F of the cam lock. Using a slightly larger than 1/4" bit, drill directly into the center of the end of the board, allowing the 2F piece to slide with some resistance. The other end, the pilot hole for the 1-9/16" (30S) screw, should be a 1/8" hole and about 2" deep. Again, be sure to drill straight through the end of the board .I installed the board in the drawer before drilling to make it easier to line up.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
