I injured my knee on a very hard leg day (many years). I overused my knee which resulted in a meniscus tear, a cruciate ligament tear and a micro fracture of the tibia. Needless to say, the last leg workout broke me. When I got home from the gym, my knee was swollen and couldn't bend. The next morning I was in severe pain and needed crutches to get out of bed. While lying in bed I found this knee pad (and 5 others) at Revain. I bought all 5 and can 100% say this is the only brace that has allowed me to support my swollen, injured and unstable knee. I have worn this brace to all of my post injury appointments and both my podiatrist and physical therapist said it had all the stability points for someone with severe knee problems. I was wearing a knee stabilizer from the hospital but it kept sliding down my leg and felt awkward and heavy. This orthosis is ideal for safe walking and support. I would highly recommend this brace as I bought 5 others to get the right fit, support and quality (and I even bought a very expensive brand and it was too bulky and couldn't flex, not even a bit ).
