You get what you pay for
Suitable for warm weather or as a throw blanket It won't keep you warm on its own in temperate and cold weather (50F or below), even if you wrap it in burrito style. The weave of the blanket is too loose (ventilated) and lacks volume. Hold the blanket up to the light and you will see the light coming through it. My Swiss quilt made from excess wool is almost twice as thick and doesn't let any light through. If you take this blanket with you on a hike, be sure to cover it with another blanket or use it to line your sleeping bag.
